Hello, I made contact with Scott at about 01:15 23.July.2008 UTC. I was operating on battery power in a Chicago city park running 35 watts with my FT817 and HFPacker amp into an MP-1 vertical antenna on top of the picnic table! 73 de KG9E

D-Star Now Linked to Omaha
D-StarThe W0MAO D-Star repeater (gateway) is now linked to the KD0CGR gateway in Omaha. The link will remain semi-permanent for the time being. Remember, wait until you hear the beeps before you key your radio. If you key while the repeater is 'up', your transmission may not go through.

Tim - Talk to the club librarian about which books are available to "check out". Much cheaper that way.
